Exit Management

Employees may leave their roles or the Company for a number of reasons including:

  • Dismissal – for e.g. conduct, capability, ill health
  • Redundancy
  • Resignation
  • Retirement

With each of these, there are some processes that employers have to follow as a legal requirement, be that for example, the statutory retirement process introduced in October 2006 or the statutory dismissal procedure introduced in October 2005. There are also some 'good practice' things that can be used to ensure that not only are you legally compliant but you are managing your resource effectively.
